Concord, NC, – January 16, 2010 – 1,2,3 JUMP

On January 16, 2010, 1,2,3 JUMP will sponsor “JUMP In to Giving”,

a community outreach and kickoff event from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm benefiting the Church of God Children’s Home of North Carolina.

This event has three main objectives, the first being to provide the Children’s Home with donated items from county residents and businesses.  The second, to provide a family friendly event for the community that will incorporate fun and fitness in a positive environment.  The third, to re-launch 1,2,3 JUMP into Cabarrus County in an effort to increase service exposure, recruit new volunteers and local program partners.

This family friendly event will include jump rope activities, games, music, food, and prizes.  Admission is FREE and donations for the Children’s Home are welcome.  The event will be held at 3485 Orphanage Cir, Concord, NC 28027.  This event is being made possible by Lowe’s Heroes, the Institute of Black Charities, 1,2,3 JUMP, and the Church of God Children’s Home of North Carolina.
